Gifted Hands Christmas Decorations: Little Characters, Lovely Traditions
Some Christmas decorations do more than fill a branch. They become the familiar faces you look forward to unpacking every December, bringing back memories of Christmases past.
I know many families who purchase one decoration each, per year, and over a liftime it builds a collection of special memories as the boxes are unpacked year after year.
Our Gifted Hands Christmas decorations are full of that kind of personality. From Australian wildlife to festive favourites and a dinosaur with a place on the tree, these handmade felt decorations bring a fun little touch to your Christmas decorating.
Made from 100% natural New Zealand wool felt and handcrafted in Nepal, they’re a lovely way to create a tree that feels uniquely yours.

Christmas in Australia has its own character, and your tree can too. Think sunny days, familiar wildlife and a little festive fun rather than snowflakes alone.
Kookaburra Kate and Wombat Wally are charming choices for an Australian-inspired Christmas tree, and we thing these made a perfect end of year teacher gift.
For something delightfully unexpected, meet Prawn Peter, this little guy cracks us up! Because if there’s anywhere a prawn belongs on a Christmas tree, surely it’s Australia! This little character is a fun nod to summer celebrations and Christmas lunches with family and friends.
You don’t need a perfectly coordinated tree to make it special. Sometimes the most memorable trees are the ones filled with characters, stories and decorations chosen simply because they make someone smile.
GIFTED HANDS
This small, family owned Nepalese company creates eco-friendly, hand made goods and supports hundreds of families in this developing country. Their range of 100% wool felt goods are made by women co-operatives. We also support, with a donation from every sale, the Nepalese Children's Education Fund, a volunteer only non-profit, which funds the education of children from impoverished rural communities.
Gifted Hands also hand make a unique range of wrapping paper and gift bags. Workers from small village communities harvest the bark of the lokta plant, convert it to paper pulp, then dry and dye it using local vegetable inks. Lokta paper has a texture and visual beauty unlike any other paper.
The featured Gifted Hands decorations are handcrafted in Nepal using felted New Zealand wool. Their soft texture offers a lovely contrast to shiny baubles.
It’s a story worth sharing when you give one as a gift or hang it on your own tree.
