Mont Marte 18ml Premium Oil Paints are a stunning medium for your next masterpiece. These premium oil paints boast excellent covering power, tinting strength and are great for colour mixing. 

Oil paint has been regarded as a fine art medium for hundreds of years, and for good reason. It differs to Acrylic paint in that it has a much slower drying time than acrylics, allowing you to manipulate the paint over several painting sessions, and also allows subtle colour blending, layering and various brush techniques. Oil Paint also dries to a consistent colour, whereas acrylics may darken slightly upon drying, and offers long term durability and resistance to the elements.

These Mont Marte Oil paints are fantastic for a variety of techniques including Impasto and Palette knife painting, wet-on-wet, glazing, colour blocking and mixed media applications. You can also thin these paints with Oil Mediums such as Linseed Oil, and clean up with Turpentine. Suitable for use on a variety of surfaces such as canvas, paper, primed wood and aluminium.
